    Product detailed description

    Round wire retaining ring for shafts (Runddrahtring, round wire snap ring) according to DIN 7993 A, Cirteq RW series. The ring made of spring wire with a circular cross-section is fitted into a semicircular groove. It is inexpensive and suitable for axial retention with lower loads where the groove is covered – for example retention of piston pins, gearboxes and automotive engineering.

    Cirteq is a British manufacturer of retaining rings and technical springs with TS 16949 quality certification (Cirteq Technical Manual catalogue, series RW (DIN 7993 A)).

    Technical data: material spring steel wire (patented drawn wire EN 10270-1), surface phosphated and oiled. Stainless steel 1.4310 or phosphor bronze on request. Dimensions according to the table in the picture: wire diameter d7, inner diameter of the free ring d3, gap e, groove diameter d2 with tolerance and groove radius r, limiting speed ndet. Seeger designates this series RW (DIN 9925).

    Variant dimensions: shaft diameter d1 4 to 125 mm, wire diameter 0.8 to 3.2 mm. The variant name contains the Cirteq catalogue designation, shaft diameter x wire diameter and groove diameter d2.
