Metal face seals
SKF catalogue HDDF metal face seals, also known as duo cone or floating seals. The seal consists of a pair of metal sealing rings running against each other on lapped faces and two rubber O-rings in NBR or FKM that load the rings and seal them in the housing. They are designed for heavy-duty conditions with sand, mud and water.
