V-ring seals
SKF catalogue V-ring seals – axial rubber seals that are fitted on the shaft and seal with a lip against a face. Four profiles are available, each in NBR or FKM: VA (VR1) with a standard cross section and straight back for shafts 2.7 to 2020 mm, the low-profile VS (VR2) for shafts 4.5 to 210 mm, the very compact VL (VR3) for tight spaces and as a supplement to labyrinth seals (105 to 2025 mm), and VE (VR4) with the largest cross section for heavy duty as a secondary seal against water and dirt (300 to 2010 mm).
