Corrosion resistant chains
SKF catalogue roller chains for the food and chemical industries and for outdoor and wet environments, in ANSI and ISO B-series sizes. Two product pages: stainless steel chains (SS) with all parts made of stainless steel – ANSI 25-1 to 140-1 and ISO 04B-1 to 32B-1, 20 variants; their tensile strength is lower than that of a carbon steel chain. Surface treated chains – nickel plated (NP), zinc plated (ZP) or dacromet (DR) – ANSI 25-1 to 160-1 and ISO 04B-1 to 32B-1, 66 variants; a lower-cost alternative to stainless that keeps the strength of a standard chain.
