Product detailed description
Round wire retaining ring for bores (Runddrahtring, round wire snap ring) according to DIN 7993 B, Cirteq RB series. The ring made of spring wire with a circular cross-section is fitted into a semicircular groove. It is inexpensive and suitable for axial retention with lower loads where the groove is covered – for example retention of piston pins, gearboxes and automotive engineering.
Cirteq is a British manufacturer of retaining rings and technical springs with TS 16949 quality certification (Cirteq Technical Manual catalogue, series RB (DIN 7993 B)).
Technical data: material spring steel wire (patented drawn wire EN 10270-1), surface phosphated and oiled. Stainless steel 1.4310 or phosphor bronze on request. Dimensions according to the table in the picture: wire diameter d7, outer diameter of the free ring d3, gap e, groove diameter d2 with tolerance and groove radius r. Seeger designates this series RB (DIN 9926).
Variant dimensions: bore diameter d1 7 to 125 mm, wire diameter 0.8 to 3.2 mm. The variant name contains the Cirteq catalogue designation, bore diameter x wire diameter and groove diameter d2.
