Product detailed description
Constant (uniform) section retaining ring for bores – snap ring, in German Sprengring – Cirteq SB series (M2300). It has no lugs and its cross-section is the same around the whole circumference, so it has a low radial height. It is suitable for housings, hubs and bushings with a groove in the bore where there is little space around the ring, for example for axial retention of bearings.
Cirteq is a British manufacturer of retaining rings and technical springs with TS 16949 quality certification (Cirteq Technical Manual catalogue, series SB (M2300) SB98–SB440).
Technical data: material spring steel C67S / C75S (EN 10132), smaller diameters made of patented drawn wire (EN 10270-1), surface phosphated and oiled. Stainless steel 1.4310 or phosphor bronze on request. Dimensions according to the table in the picture: thickness s, section height b, outer diameter of the free ring d3, groove diameter d2 with tolerance, groove width m, groove load capacity FN and ring load capacity FR (kN). Equivalent to Seeger SB.
