Bell damper GeTech SCT (tear resistant bell mount) has the same external dimensions as the SC series, but a vulcanised threaded insert with a fail-safe device is located inside the bell. The fail-safe device completely prevents the bell from separating from the base even under heavy shocks and vibration – for example when starting a powerful combustion engine. Suitable for engines, generators, compressors and mobile machines.
GeTech is a renowned brand of Italian products (GeTech 2026 catalogue, Vibration Control Line – Machine Mounts).
Technical data: version with vulcanised threaded insert and fail-safe device (failsafe), rubber body material NR/SBR, hardness 60 Shore A, hardness tolerance +/- 5 ShA, metal parts made of zinc-plated steel sheet.
Cylindrical damper type designation: type 1 = type A = stud/stud, type 2 = type B = stud/nut, type 3 = type C = nut/nut, type 4 = type D = stud/rubber, type 5 = type E = nut/rubber. The waisted (sand-glass) shape is designated TP1, the conical bumper A2CN. Bell dampers (A2SC, A2SCT, A2SCQ, A2SMAR) form a separate group for mounting machines and motors on a flange with two or four holes.
