Belt design

Optibelt VB classical V-belts consist of a polyester tension cord - standard for all profiles and sections, with a construction matching the requirements of each profile. The cord is specially impregnated and then embedded in a special rubber compound that bonds homogeneously with the top layer and the core. Thanks to this special treatment, the optibelt VB V-belt has extremely low elongation. The fabric cover is treated with a wear-resistant rubber compound. This makes the belt resistant to oil, high and low temperatures and dust.optibelt VB belts are antistatic (ELOIL). Optibelt VB belts can be matched in sets with L=C values, without the need to match by length.

Applications

Classical optibelt VB V-belts are mainly used as spare parts for industrial drives. For new drives, the use of high-performance optibelt SK narrow V-belts is almost always recommended for reasons of space and cost. In special designs, optibelt VB classic V-belts cope with demanding drives in horticultural and agricultural machinery.
