MA21 (now listed as U-Cup N21) is a symmetrical single-acting U-cup seal by Dichtomatik (Freudenberg) made of NBR 90 with an offset sealing lip. Thanks to its symmetrical profile it can be used as both a piston and a rod seal.
Advantages: good static and dynamic sealing effect, easy installation by snapping into the groove, wide range of use (piston and rod), particularly suitable as a spare part.
Application: Hydraulics, standard cylinders, single-acting pressure loads, preferably at lower pressures.
Technical parameters: material NBR 90 Shore A, pressure up to 16 MPa, sliding speed up to 0.5 m/s, temperature −30 °C to +100 °C. Groove flank roughness Ra ≤ 3 µm.
