The S20 seal is a single-acting rod seal for a closed (non-split) groove – it is easy to insert into the groove and installation is simple. It can be used on its own or as a secondary seal in combination with a S15 type seal for heavy-duty service. In dimensions and function it corresponds to the K22 type rod U-cup seal.

Application: Light to medium-duty hydraulic cylinders, mining equipment, hydraulic presses. FKM version for higher temperatures and more aggressive media.

Technical parameters: material FKM (fluorocarbon rubber), pressure up to 160 bar, speed up to 0.5 m/s. Max. extrusion gap 0.60 mm at 150 bar. Roughness: static surfaces Ra 1.6 µm, dynamic Ra 0.4 µm.

Size: rod diameter d 50 mm, groove root diameter D 60 mm, seal height H 7 mm, groove width L 7.5 mm (+0,2).
