P29 is an asymmetric single-acting piston seal for medium duty, intended primarily as a replacement part. The seal has an anti-extrusion back-up ring that prevents the lip from being extruded into the gap and allows larger clearances and higher pressures.

Application: excavators, earth-moving and construction machinery, forestry equipment, standard hydraulic cylinders. Easily installed in a closed piston groove (using a soft installation tool without sharp edges, lubricate the seal before installation). Advantages: static and dynamic sealing effect, low friction, back-up ring against extrusion, easy installation.

Technical parameters: U-cup seal NBR 80 Shore A, back-up ring POM / PA (nylon), pressure up to 250 bar, temperature −30 °C to +100 °C, speed up to 0.5 m/s. Media: mineral oils, bio oils, water-based fluids and water-glycol. Max. extrusion gap 0.90 mm at 50 bar, 0.80 mm at 100 bar, 0.60 mm at 250 bar. Roughness: static surfaces Ra 1.6 µm, dynamic Ra 0.4 µm. Tolerance: D H11, d h11.
