Merkel U-Ring NA 300 is a single-acting piston seal – a polyurethane U-cup with an asymmetrical profile: the outer (dynamic) lip is offset and on the inner diameter the seal is press-fitted into the piston groove. It is designed for standardized housings, among others according to ISO 5597,, and offers very good static and dynamic sealing.

Application: Earth-moving and construction machinery, support cylinders, presses.

Technical parameters: material polyurethane 94 AU 925 (94 Shore A), pressure up to 40 MPa, speed up to 0.5 m/s, temperature −30 °C to +110 °C in HL/HLP hydraulic oils and mineral lubricating greases, HFA/HFB +5 to +50 °C, HFC −30 to +40 °C, water +5 to +40 °C, HETG −30 to +60 °C, HEES −30 to +80 °C, HEPG −30 to +40 °C. Tolerances: bore D H9, groove root diameter d h11.
