The piston seal K501 consists of a thermoplastic sealing ring with a «Z» cut and a rectangular elastomer energizer ring. It provides good sealing even at low pressures thanks to the rectangular elastomer. The «Z»-cut sealing ring provides excellent sealing without losing contact with the tube surface even at high and shock pressures. The ring can work with larger extrusion gaps compared with PTFE and has high strength and wear resistance thanks to the glass-filled thermoplastic material.
