These raw edge classical V-belts have cogs on the inner side so that they can bend around smaller pulleys. Without fabric on the flanks, raw edge belts provide higher friction and minimize power loss due to slip. The EPDM synthetic rubber base can significantly extend drive belt life in operation at high ambient temperatures.
