HTD timing (synchronous) belts Belts are a very efficient and cost-effective method of transmitting power from motors to driven machines. High Torque Drive (HTD) timing belts have teeth that mesh with the corresponding grooves in the pulleys and ensure a constant speed ratio. Low-stretch glass fibre cords provide excellent dimensional stability. The oil- and heat-resistant neoprene rubber backing provides high shear strength. The belt sleeve can be cut to the required belt width.
