DIN 3017. The ASFA-S W5 hose clamp fully complies with DIN 3017 and the EU directive 2002/95/EC. This clamp represents the latest stage in the development of the ASFA 12 mm series. One of the main improvements of this version is the lateral offset of the band thread, which reduces the tendency of the band end to run off-centre out of the housing when tightening. Thanks to the combination of the housing, the locking system and the position of the screw in the housing, this clamp offers excellent performance at the same nominal tightening torques.
