KPOR30 is a symmetric double-acting piston seal by Dichtomatik (Freudenberg): a PTFE slide ring preloaded by an O-ring that serves as both sealing and energizing element. The sealing surface has pressure-balancing grooves and the inner diameter fits tightly.

Advantages: tolerates higher groove root roughness, low friction even at low speed, high wear resistance, suitable for dry running and insufficient lubrication as well as high temperatures, allows rapid changes of pressure and direction (lateral relief notches), no stick-slip effect, high extrusion resistance.

Application: Piston sealing with pressure from both sides – mobile and stationary hydraulics, standard cylinders, presses, rolling mills, injection moulding machines, handling equipment, construction machinery.

Technical parameters: PTFE slide ring (PTFE with FKM O-ring in the cross-reference list), pressure up to 40 MPa, sliding speed up to 15 m/s, temperature −30 °C to +100 °C (higher with an FKM O-ring depending on the version). Roughness: mating surface Ra ≤ 2 µm, groove flanks Ra ≤ 3 µm, for pulsating pressure use an O-ring of min. 80 Shore A.
