The MI cup seal (piston cup type PN 02 9270, MICNC version) is a single-acting cup-shaped piston seal made of NBR rubber 80. It seals against the cylinder wall with its circumferential lip, and its base is clamped to the piston (piston plate) by a bolt or nut passing through the central hole. It is used mainly in pneumatic cylinders and equipment.
Technical parameters: material NBR 80 (nitrile rubber), temperature range −30 °C to +80 °C, max. pressure 3.2 MPa (according to the Rubena seal overview), media: compressed air with oil mist, mineral oils and lubricants.
