These are special shaft seals for very demanding conditions. Thanks to their complex design they provide optimal protection against water, dust, mud and other coarse contaminants. They are characterised by high durability and long service life. This generation was developed in response to constantly growing requirements for longer service life, functional reliability, environmental protection and simple installation. It is used for sealing axles and wheel hubs of heavily loaded vehicles and industrial gearboxes.

A cassette seal consists of two permanently joined parts, where most often one works on the principle of a radial shaft seal and the other serves as a counterpart mounted on the shaft. The spaces between the individual sealing lips are filled with lifetime grease.
